Tough workout today, Ran the course of the Provo River Half marathon. 1:14:14 total time. Mile markers were off, so no splits. Oh well. Got to run with James aka Mona Flash. We ran hard and tough for a while and talked briefly about things until he had to pull away and race his race. Good job James, way to run dude.

Overall I felt pretty good about the run except for a late start and having to plow through the masses. My fault for going to the top of the mountain so to speak in order to warm up.

It was nice to see everyone again I missed you all too much to just give up. I have had a rough time lately, but I'm back now so let's run.

It's good to see you back Steve. Now let's just keep you on the straight and narrow running path!

Yeah buddy! Will I see you next week at Great Salt Lake Half?

Steve, nice job. It was great to meet you and have that good chat on the way up. Time to get down to business now!

Go Bandit! Wow, I am seeing glimpses of the old "Ashman" back at it. You are looking good to gear up for a fall marathon PR.

Great to see you out today Steve. Stay strong, man!

From James on Sun, Aug 12, 2007 at 17:22:09

Thanks for running with me for a while yesterday. Glad that things are back on track for you now. I'm sure it won't be too long before I only see the back of your singlet in the first couple miles of a race again, that is, before you pull far enough ahead that I don't see you at all!
