AM-Easy 4 mile jog.  Rail trail. Warm and humid = Too many bugs..  yuck.

PM-Easy 4 miles.  Loop course.  Heart rate got above 70% at times because of the heat but the overall pace was kept easy.

Watching David Rudisha run away with a WR in the Olympic 800 meters as I finish the entry.  Wow.. what a run especially the last 200 meters. Seb Coe was reported to have said;  "Unbelievable".  My thought exactly. A really great run by Rudisha.  Now if Rupp can just deliver for the US in the 5000m a tougher but however not impossible feat.

Incredible race to watch. Who would have thought 2 USA guys would both run 1:42 and NOT get medals?!? Rudisha is a class act and gutsy runner - just decided to go for the WR on his own, at the Olympics, in his 3rd race of the week. When was the last time that happened? Before I was born, that's for sure!

Yes I know, it's kind of crazy.. Nothing but 110% and more at the end will do in these Olympics it seems and not just in running either. This is overall I think a good thing:)

This has definitely inspired me to play the sport better than I used to, not just by training harder, but smarter also. ie-Better recovery practices, more specific training etc.
