PM: Well today was a bit different. As I'm now starting to have deadlines I actually had to work before going into work this morning instead of running. It was a long day but I finally feel like I am checking stuff off of my to due list. After the girls went down I went for an evening run. The neighborhood has so much more life. Both human and animal. I saw the most people I've seen since we moved in. Also, I saw a copperhead. Now I'd seen rattlers running in Utah so seeing a venomous snake is not completely new but it does get the heart racing a little. I looked at it and it looked at me and we both continued on our way.

We had a dead copperhead on the side of the road on our work running route, and we used it for a few days to scare the guys that didn't know it was there. Fun to watch them jump as they were about to step on it.

I learned how to identify a poisonous snake by the pits on the sides of its head but I don't think I would like to get that close although I did enjoy holding several other varieties.

Are you familiar with the saying "Only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noon day sun"? Stay cool and congratulations on making deadlines there. Got our tickets for September. Can't wait.

I look for the triangle head. You can see that from a bit further away. I think the house will actually look like something by September. So it should be extra good.
