I remember our runs in Houston on our trip to Texas in June of 2015. I recall that unlike Utah, there was not much benefit in getting up early :-) The way we dealt with it was run a 2-3 mile loop, then stop at the house for a drink/cooling break, then continue.

I know that J Golden Kimball had something to say about the heat in St. George, but he also served as a missionary and later as a mission president in the Southern States. I wonder if he had ever said anything special about southern humidity :-)
