New start. Well today officially starts my "back to normal" campaign. I woke up early, did a run from home, light dumbbell lift, and then to work (home office). Still such a mountain of paperwork to catch up on. At least there is one mountain in Alabama :)

Sorry we are going to miss your track race. It is definitely a new adventure to our lives. We'll see what happens with the running after all the family and work set-up settle.

From Jon on Sat, Jul 13, 2013 at 15:32:02 from 76.2.30.26

Yeah, SC isn't runner friendly, either. There are no shoulders or sidewalks anywhere around my house or work. Makes it hard.

From Adam RW on Sun, Jul 14, 2013 at 06:39:55 from 71.45.96.54

Luckily I have the one side walk but there is are really really nice road out the other way that has a bridge over a nice like. But without the shoulder I just can't rationalize doing it. I have seen two cyclists out but... The good news is there are some trails about a 15-20 minute drive that I still have to check out.

Trails? Very nice.

As much as the summer stinks, you'll love running here in the winter. No snow or ice on the roads. I didn't wear long pants once this winter.

From Adam RW on Tue, Jul 16, 2013 at 11:11:43 from 71.45.96.54

I already boxed up all my winter running stuff assuming a may not need in the years to come. I was about to put my long sleeves in long term storage. "Trails" is all relative. But the hills here are harder than I expected.
