Easy run today after 4 days off to try and let me foot heal. Felt ok today and did not really feel like I was pushing the pace at all. Ended up running 6:41 average pace for the 10 miles with 2.5 miles at 6:12 pace in the middle. Even the 6:12 pace felt easier than marathon pace. The good news is that my foot did not hurt very much. There is still some pain in the same area but it is much improved. I can still feel it on almost every step but it is definetly heading in the right direction. Hopefully it will not get any worse as I run this week. I will continue with easier runs this week and hope for the best. |
