Enjoy running and racing at whatever level I am able to. Possibly run another marathon post Microfracture Surgery in under 3:00.

Personal:

I'm in the Army. I am married with four children (20/17/13/8 years old). Trying to return to previous running form after having microfracture knee surgery in July 2008.

AM - 15.1 miles at average pace of 7:14. So the awrm weather quickly dissappeared and it was cold and very snowy and icy today. Overall a very uneventfull run until the very end when Sasha took a fall. He ended up with a bloody nose and bloody lip but other than that he said he was ok. I am off to Washinton state today to spend the holidays with the inlaws. We will drive to Bosie tonight and then the rest of the way tomorrow. The knee problem is still lingering thus the lack of second runs this week.

We never had that warm weather here, it was nasty yesterday and freezing today.

I think you should take a week off and get those injuries healed up. Otherwise you might get them healed, but it could take all spring. You have been putting in some big miles for being injured. Your body can heal problems in a week with no running that will take six months to heal if you keep running.
