Enjoy running and racing at whatever level I am able to. Possibly run another marathon post Microfracture Surgery in under 3:00.

I'm in the Army. I am married with four children (20/17/13/8 years old). Trying to return to previous running form after having microfracture knee surgery in July 2008.

Easy run at 4:30am with Sasha. We got hit pretty hard by the storm this morning. The rain was coming down pretty good and the wind was blowing it sideways thus making it very cold and miserable at times. Ran easy and just chatted averaged 7:24 pace for 11 miles. Taking it easy the next couple days to make sure I am rested for the 50-60 miles I have to cover on Saturday in Moab.

Good luck in Moab. I hope you reach your goal time. You and Sasha have put in some impressive miles.

Also thank you for the information about Boston. I will try to sneak up from corral 3. I really feel my performance has increased since my last marathon. 14 weeks of training will do that, rather than running marathon's each month.

What's your goal for Moab?

Our goal is to finish top 5 overall amongst competitive teams if all goes well. There are a lot of factors involved when you are covering 57.88 miles via Kayak, mountain bike, running and rappelling. The course also has over 6000 feet of elevation gain as well.
