Biked to the office on the Capital Crescent trail. I absolutely love this commute. I should move to Bethesda. It's a straight shot on a bike trail the entire way, very few stops to cross streets, so you can fly down. The best part is when I pass biker dudes on racing bikes, the serious bikers, with my mountain bike with hybrid tires and running shoes... I ring my girly bell that says "I heart my bike" every time I pass a guy like that on purpose so they feel less manly... hahaha! Of course then I fall and they're the ones that get the last laugh...

you are so funny! And competetive, oh man! I am klutzy too - I have been thinking about biking a couple days a week (about 11 miles each way, but an easy ride) - but after reading all about your luck with riding I am terribly nervous!!

You and your sister look very much alike (and beautiful too, despite all the falls on the face ;-) ).

Have a good weekend.

Sounds like a great trail... I can't wait for the snow to melt a bit more so I can run the trails here. That is when I really love running :)

That is hilarious about passing the serious bikers on their street bikes and ringing your girly bell. I love it! Nice ride. I wish I were fast on my mountain bike. But, I'm not. :o)

I love your commute! What an awesome place to live, as always :) Are you all healed from your last crash? I sure hope so :D

Have you looked into training wheels :)

Mike, I'm probably the only person in the planet that could actually fall with training wheels. However, I am looking into a chin strap and knee pads. Any ideas?

Hope you survive the snow storm that is hitting the east coast today! I am very glad that I am not there now and instead 2 weeks ago!
