Biked from Chevy Chase to the office (10 miles), all the way on the CCT, on a very crispy morning! For the first time since I've been riding that trail, a lot of bikers past me... I don't mind when the hard-core looking bikers pass me, (I could beat anyone if I had a road bike!), but at least nobody that's a commuter biker like me passes me... Plus I was carrying a heavy pack! Anyway, it was a great ride.

Ran after work around Dumbarton Oaks/Glover Park - feeling awful, like my blood pressure is down or something...  I had to walk a lot. I thought I was going to faint - even though I ate all day long...

Had a granola bar at the office and biked home (5 miles).

LOL wow your competitive.:) I see someone buying a road bike soon. You will love the difference and the speed factor. But then you might become a hard-core biker/commuter.

How are you today? Hope better.

And I was going to ask you when your next 10k race is...

Huans, I am already a hard-core biker and commuter!!!

Eric, I'm feeling well today, thanks for asking... the race... ehhhh... was cancelled... yeah... my leg broke... so i can't run... :)

The race is the Lawyers Have Heart 10k, June 13. I'm buying the headband now... the one you all voted for was not available though, so I'm getting the other one...

Rocket,

If you are still wondering about how accurate McMillan's calculator is...here are my #'s after having run a marathon.

5k 21:40, 10k 45:01, marathon 3:38:21(calc. says I should run 3:31:11).

For me the longer the distance, the more off it gets.

Sounds like a little piece of biking nirvana too me!
