Personal:

I was a single mom.  Two times over.  We all survived, despite the fact that I make atrocious decisions.  Then, I met a man I didn't deserve.  And he loves me so much.  And I love him. We lived in sin and bought a house for two years then hired a judge and officially got married(to our great delight and also the delight of our mothers), then a month later he was diagnosed with cancer.  Well we survived all that and he's 100% fine now.  But, we're really out of shape and really busy with kids and jobs and running just isn't my priority and there's so many other layers to all of it, but I'm running anyway.  This is my failure blog now.  Just to log that one run a week if I snag it.
Somehow that matters and I want that run recorded.

Not crazy at all. You have over 10 days to train and should easy bounce back from a 100+ mile race to get back to your routine. I definitely see no possible reason not to do it. Plus it will be so fun those last few hours of the race. Yep, it's a win-win.

You said that if you did this it would be just for fun. Would that still be the plan? I think you could go out and have a wonderful time in that running community. Get up a good crew, good food, and you could probably go for days. I say if you're healthy, why not? :-)

I would be doing it for fun--no agenda. just run until I can't run, then run/walk until I can't and then walk until I can't, then sit/walk until it's over.

Is SlowJoe being sarcastic? :-)

SlowJoe's sarcasm had me laughing pretty hard! I'm still giggling.

That sounds like fun, April! You are hardcore - I love it. I think your no-agenda agenda sounds like a solid no agenda. :)
