felt pretty good. I felt like I didn't push hard enough, like I was just coasting. I do so much better when I do these with someone else. It pisses me off when I just settle in like that! I was pretty surprised, when I did the map of this run, to discover the distances. I think I underestimate myself a lot of the time. Maybe that's why I coast? However, I must say it is nice to be running this fast no matter what! And this was a short fartlek!

Lady..you blow me away. I can't believe how fast you are.....

Me either, That's why I always map out runs... I sort of don't believe I can run that fast, so I won't wear a garmin....(self defeat for me) but have to map out afterwards weird quirk! I totally didn't believe I ran 5:37 pace, until I mapped it 3x!

seriously...I just can't even picture you running...it's gotta be fun to watch. :)

I don't usually share this kind of stuff with people (as Paul might be able to vouch), but I think I can here. I thought maybe I might be going fast because people's mouths were open, and on my second loop there seemed to be A LOT more people outside, and they were staring too. It didn't click until much much later when I mapped it... "oh, maybe they were staring at me!" It was very cold out and it was 2:00-3:00 on a weekday! What are the odds that there'd be that many people outside? I tend to be so clueless, and truly spastic about that type of stuff. Every PR I think, must've been a short course! For a while my husband accused me of false humility until he realized I reallly didn't know!
