Warmed up with 3 easy miles then ran a 4 mile tempo run. Last week, my splits were all over the place so I wanted to keep the splits more even this time. My legs felt like a ton of bricks - especially my quads. It felt like a lot of work to maintain my pace but was able to hold a consistent pace throughout the run: 6:29, 6:28, 6:28, 6:25. Finished with a couple of easy mile to cool down. Total Time: 1:06:24 (7:23/mile) |
