Still sick.  The cold is starting to settle in my chest which makes running in the cold air less than comfortable.  Still running watchless and taking it easy.

It's all that crazy outside running in freezing temps that finally caught up with you. I hope you get feeling better soon. Have a bad cold is miserable.

Be careful Andy. I ended up with pneumonia last year from running with a cold and having it settle in my chest. It took forever to get over it!

Get better Andy....My wife had caught a cold a month ago and it moved into her chest and then she got strep throat and slight pneumonia. She's still trying to recover from it.

I'll be sure to keep an eye on it. I seem to get this same gunk every year so I'm not too concerned.

I read these tips in the Runner's World log book:

"Running with a cold? First do a neck check. If it's a head cold (above the neck), go ahead with your workout. If the virus has settled in your chest (below the neck), skip your run and rest."

"If you begin shivering 10 min into a run, seek shelter immediately. In all likelihood, you have a fever."

I'm glad you took it easy on your run this morning. I wimped out and ran on the mill instead. How are you feeling now? I hope the cold goes away and never comes back.
