My legs felt dead today - very strange.  I'm not sure what the deal was.  Pretty uneventful run except I came as close to getting hit by a car as I ever have.  A car on a cross street was turning right and didn't bother looking to the right.  She stopped and I thought she saw me so I continued through the street.  She started her turn and never did notice me.  Luckily I was paying attention and was able to jump out of the way.  She missed me by no more than 3 inches.

Yikes, its always those people turning right that never look right. I think anyone who has been running for any amount of time has had that happen. I'm glad you used your mad quickness to skirt out of the way.

I can whistle pretty loud and I always whistle when I see a car turning right and it usually get there attention. The bad part is I have to use my fingers to whistle and so I can't do it with gloves on. I am glad you didn't get smooshed.
