I was going to go 7 or 8 but as I started the run my ankle felt pretty good.  I figured the easy run yesterday allowed it to heal a little so I decided to keep the mileage down again today.  Felt pretty good during the run.  Plan is to keep it easy for the rest of the week.

Last night's swimming lesson went really well.  Still struggle with the breathing rhythm but I am getting there.  How many days per week should I swim to continue to improve?  Is 2 days per week enough?  If I can convince my girls to sit and watch me before letting them swim I can go more but I don't think they will go for that.

I have been swimming 2-3 times per week and I have seen improvement with my running. I used to try and do 2-3 2-a-days for running, but when I got injured I picked up swimming. To prevent injuries I have been doing swims instead of a second run. Good Luck!

I don't know enough about swimming to comment, but good for you getting out there and doint it.

Nice Andy...you should ask Jim how many days he swims he is the best swimmer I know.

Very smart choice on the run.

You know I have no idea what I am talking about ... but I would like to start swimming 3 times a week again. I felt awesome when I was doing that!

Kathie - Jim's too hard core. I'm not ready for his level yet.

Yes he is hard core but he is also smart enough to tell you what is best for you don't you think.

You know I always find a good bribery can get my daughter to do almost anything....however, it may cost you a lot :)
