During the first half of the run my legs felt very dead.  They were numb and sore.  After warming up they started to feel better and I was able to get into a better flow.  While running I was thinking about a couple of 5k's that I was going to run this month.  I am not really feeling like I have much of a competitive streak right now so I may skip them.  I'm trying to get back to the place where running is fun again and I think that a running a race right now will do more harm than good.

I am thinking about running 2 5k also. One on Thanksgiving and the other this weekend. Just to go out and have fun. Having fun is just a mind set. Sure races can be competitive and fun. You just have to work harder at having fun. Just a thought.

A lot of my fun is defined by my time so that is why I probably won't race this month. I don't feel like I am in good enough shape right now to run a quality race.

Yea I hear you. With all the races that you have ran recently its hard to keep up that kind of training and do well in all your races. You always seem to not really like your performaces though. I just find that I can have a good time and it doesnt have to be a PR. I love having my friends there at the races like you. That is what makes running fun for me. Corp games we ran will be a good memory for me just since I was able to run it with you and my company. Even though I didnt do well at all.
