I turn 38 today so of course I had to incorporate that into the run.  Thirty eight miles is too much, 3.8 isn't enough so I went with 8.3 miles.  As I started the run, it just didn't seem special enough so I decided to run 3.8 miles at LT pace (6:30/mile average pace).  Back to back speed days actually felt good. I wonder how much of my running issues of the past couple of months have been mental.

I could say something funny (well at least I think it is funny) right now but won't...you can thank me later.

All I can say. Is running slower can really make you think your slower. But there are those speeds that just feel better and they are faster. It felt so good when I was healed up to start running faster again. Felt like my old self again. Dude your ready to start training hard again.

Happy Birthday!!! I hope you continue to celebrate throughout the evening!!

Should I order a dancing gorilla??? :)
