Nothing exciting, just got out and tried to enjoy the run. Wanted to run to the entrance of Mueller Park but thought that the downhill on the return home would be too much on my tibia. Ran the Orchard Drive loop instead. It got a little warm towards the end of the run and I was completely soaked. As I made my last turn about 1/2 mile away from home I saw the garbage truck. I didn't think that they would be making pick ups today due to the holiday so I had to push hard the last 1/2 mile to get ahead of him. Ran the last half mile at a little faster than 5k pace and it felt good. Total Time: 1:18:20 (7:42/mile) |
