I started a little further north on the LPT than I normally do so that I could check some of the other mile markers.  Started a quarter mile before the 6 mile marker and ran out to the 10 mile marker.  All mile markers seemed to be right on.  The 7.5 mile marker registered short on my Garmin because of the tunnel I had to run through but I'm pretty sure it is where it is supposed to be.  It took a couple of miles for my legs to warm up but once I got going they felt good.  After the run, I did week 3, day 2 of the hundred push up.  I alwasy struggle with the last set and can barely make it to the minimum.  I guess it's not supposed to be easy.

I need to run on the park way more. Have they added restrooms yet? I base my runs on where I can stop when I need to "go"!

No restrooms yet. I just read an article that said they are going to put them in and are just trying to get the money to do it. That's the biggest problem. There isn't even a store close by that you can go into and it isn't private enough to take care of business in case of a real emergency (for the record, I've never done that anywhere at anytime).

Are you serious Andy? Never had a bathroom now experience? I thought that was just part of running. I'm with you Kathie, my runs are based around bathrooms.

I've had a couple of bathroom now experiences but have always been able to get to a grocery store in time. I've never had to take care of it on the side of the road/trail.

Great job getting back into the push challenge. I would say for the last set just give yourself 3 full mins before doing it. So your muscles are back to full. It makes it much better if you ask me. Any sooner and you dont give yourself enough time to recover. Besides the quick easy bush stop for guys. I have never had to have one of those other kind of pit stops thank goodness too.

That's what I call GREAT potty-training! Nice run to scout out the mile marker. Keep up the push up challenge. I'm going to keep doing push ups on my core work days. I find that it really helps me with my running form. My arms used to just "come for the ride". Now I can pump them like real runners do and feel strong.

I'm glad someone is out there checking mile markers to make sure they are correct. Nice run Andy.
