15 minutes on the AMT. Light stretching and lunges.  40 minutes running on indoor track.  5 miles.

I volunteered at my first race ever today.  In my 20+ years of racing this is the first time on the "other side of the race course."  I had fun, but wished I was racing instead.  I plan on helping at a few more races this year to help me stay motivated while I slowly build my strength this year.

10 minute warmup on the AMT followed by stretching & lunges.  45 minutes running indoors.  I ran a bit with a new friend, Russ.  Pretty easy running, heart rate stayed around 120-125.  I wasn't keeping track of laps; I'll call it 4.5 miles -ish.

15 minutes on the AMT.  Stretching & lunges.  50 minutes running on the indoor track.  6 miles.  I saw lots of people running outside today.  It was about 45 degrees.  The roads are still really sloppy, so I'll stay indoors for now.  I think this is the ugliest time of year.  Still a little snow on the ground & everything is muddy; plus all the gravel & crud on the sides of teh roads.  Oh... and potholes, lots and lots of potholes.
