I was thinking about doing a small race this morning, but changed my mind.  I think I could've hurt myself racing hard so close to last week's tough 1/2 mary.  I've always used the formula- one day recovery for every mile raced.  Well, at least no races for as many days; I think you can train hard again as long as you didn't completely flatten yourself in the race.  I came close to flattening myself in the 1/2 mary due to my lack of training, so no races for a couple more weeks.  Anne and I went to my sister-in-law's house for the afternoon.  It's in farm country with lots of nice back roads to run on.  My old nemesis the wind was there.  10.14 miles.  1:12:23.  I picked it up on the way back with the wind at my back; a couple of 7:00 miles, a 6:50 and a 6:30 miles.  Overall pace 7:08.  144 BPM.  I'm starting to feel good again.
