I've been off again-on again since my calf injury this summer.  I've hit rock bottom again and I am ready to start running again.  Funny that it coincides with the new year.  It is by no means part of any new year's resolution.

I will start out with completely unstructured running for a while.

3 miles indoors at St. Mike's College.  22:00.  Felt like I was trapped in a bear suit.

Taking the day off.  Travelling to Sarasota Florida tomorrow morning.  It'll be nice to run outside without snow!

Easy 4 miles in Sarasota, FL.  Pretty chilly and windy.  Probably about 35 degrees.  I think most floridians were wearing every garment they owned.  It was amusing considering I wore my typical thin pants and jacket for ~freezing temps.  4.02 miles; 29:27; 7:19/mi; 150BPM

Easy run in chilly Vermont.  It wasn't too bad.  The temperature was about 40 degrees.  Roads are slushy.  4.08 miles; 30:32; 7:29/mi. 152BPM.

I'm out of shape....again.  It'll be a few weeks before I feel comfortable running.
