I was so excited to be home and back in my normal routine.  I met the ladies this morning and it was cold, but we had a wonderful time catching up from the holidays. I'm truly grateful for running partners who motivate me to get out there on cold mornings and who always make the run fun!  When I got home everyone was still asleep, so I just layed on the couch and enjoyed the quiet.  Once the boys were up and fed I went down and finished up on the treadmill.  Now I feel like I can accomplish everything else on my list today!

Great job - you even headed out in the cold! Glad you are back home.

Great job! Hope you make progress on your list. I really like MAKING lists, but I don't really like DOING the stuff on the list, so kind of a good news bad news kind of thing. Ha!

Ahhh! The early morning run w/ the running partners! Sounds great- good job!! And thanks to your comment telling me to enjoy my 5 miles today- YOU got me out the door! Thanks for your support!

Christi - you are far to nice and give me too much credit. I do love the blog because other people are constantly motivating me to do better. It's fun to have people out there cheering you on and wanting you to do your best.

Wow, great mileage andee! As fun as holidays are, it is always so nice to get back home and settle in. Glad you are back and hope this week goes well for you and your running! And good luck with your to dos. If they are like mine post holiday, it isnt pretty.

I had a hard time finding the desire/motivation to run this morning.  Finally at 9:00 I said it was now or never...and so it began.  I started my run with a comfortable 10:30 first mile.  Then I decided to pick things up a bit.  I was happy to be finished in 49:58.  Afterwards my boys wanted to have their turn on the treadmill.  It was fun to watch them laugh and try new things(go fast and slow) while they were "running like mommy".

I went out to meet the ladies at 6:00 and couldn't believe how warm it was.  We started out and before long I was taking off gloves and unzipping my jacket - amazing in January!  We finished our 3.5 loop and I came home to get my family up and going.  I finished with 2 more miles on the treadmill so that I can get a little closer to my goal of 20 miles for the week.  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!!!

Good job today!! I was sad when I got up and saw that it was 43 degrees at my house and I had to go to work not run.

We had a good time too, we need to do it more often.

Way to add on at home! Getting on the treadmill after running outside takes disapline in my opinion! As a busy mom you have to be creative to get it all done I guess! Good for you!! Happy Friday!

Wow, I agree with Michelle! Getting on the dreadmill after a nice run outside is next to impossible. Good luck reaching your goal!!

I woke up this morning know that I had to get a few miles in in order to reach my goal of 20 for the week.  When I looked out the window it was lightly snowing, so I knew the ladies would not be going.  I was already up and dressed so I decided to go get my grocery shopping done early.  It was one of the most enjoyable shopping experiences I've had in a long time.  Once I was home and got everything put away I forced myself to get on the treadmill.  I just wanted to get done, so I tried to be speedy and ended up doing one 9 minute mile, which for me is very fast.  When that mile was over, I was ready to be done for the week.

I met Laurie this morning at 6:00 and was happy to get a run in outside.  We decided to vary from our normal route just a bit in order to avoid some icy roads.  The whole run felt pretty good and I think we were going about a 10 minute miles the entire time.  I got home and my boys were still in bed so I added on 2 more miles on the treadmill to give me a good start on the week.  My goal this week is to run 25 miles - please hold me to it!

Marcie -

It was quite the afternoon up at PCMC, but we came home with great news. Everything is just fine and the heart murmer will most likely go away on its own. It was sad because the entire time we were there (4 hours) all Stockton wanted was Briggs - so sweet!

From Michelle on Mon, Jan 07, 2008 at 21:05:21

Once again it is Tuesday, which means I have a YW meeting at 9:00am and that is my excuse not to run.  It really isn't a good excuse because there is plenty of time in the day, but I hate getting up and ready and then running and having to get ready all over again.  So, quite honestly, I'm just really lazy!

Our experience at Primary Children's yesterday was amazing.  We came home with good news that everything was just fine!  I was so impressed with the wonderful people up there and the amazing technology we have today.  I drove home feeling so blessed to live here and to know that there are the best doctors in the world so close to take care of my children.

From Lybi on Tue, Jan 08, 2008 at 18:46:00

What happened yesterday? Is Primary Children's a hospital?

I know what you mean about the pain of having to get ready more than once. I've had to get ready as many as 3 times a day! I look at blow drying my hair as cross training...sort of. ;)

From andee on Tue, Jan 08, 2008 at 21:11:25

Lybi -

You always make me laugh - thank you! As for yesterday one of my little guys has a heart murmer and when we took them in for their 3 year check up the doctor said it was getting louder and wanted it checked out. So yesterday was the big day. They did several tests and they said he's healthy and nothing to worry about.

How are you feeling??? You'll be 100% for Painters!!

From MarcieJ on Tue, Jan 08, 2008 at 21:15:36

I am so glad Stockton is ok and no worries to worry about. He is such a sensitive little guy. Allie cant stop talking about them. Stockton was so sweet to her, what a great little guy. and I love Briggs too of course, he is my little pal!

From Michelle on Tue, Jan 08, 2008 at 21:41:06

I'm glad that everthing is o.k. PCMC is a great hospital, I feel like I have raised my second daughter there, and my third had the murmur thing that had to be worked up there too. Hate to have to go so often, but very grateful it's there when we need it!!!

From laura on Tue, Jan 08, 2008 at 22:05:38

That's great news about your son!!! Our oldest daughter also spent much time in hospitals, with doctors, and therapists; and I remember feeling deeply grateful for the technology that we have today. What an enormous blessing!!!!

Twin boys!!! Before our last 2 girls were born and we only had our oldest, Lybi used to snicker at me and say that we needed twin boys. I'm still not sure what she meant -- are they blessings or curses? (hee, hee)

I had every intention of going out and having a good run this morning. However, I woke up to the sounds of wind and looked out my window to see snow everywhere. I climbed back in bed, but couldn't go back to sleep. Finally, at 6:15 my boys were awake in their room and I decided it was now or never. I wasn't thrilled to be on the treadmill, but at least I was running. I kept all 5 miles right around the 10 minute mark and was happy to be finished in 52:18. The best part of the entire run was that my boys played happily the entire time. Now I have to get myself motivated to go out in the snow and cold for all my errands - wish me luck!

It took me a while to get motivated, but I decided to go ahead and just do a nice easy run on the treadmill today.  I wasn't going to worry about speed or time, just enjoy the run.  The plan to just enjoy was quickly foiled by children who could not cooperate or get along with each other - frustration!  So, I did 4 miles in 41:53... 11:04, 10:27, 10:00, 10:22.  Amazingly enough, now that I'm finished my kids are playing together and perfectly content!!!

It felt soooooo good to be able to run outside this morning.  In fact, I was so excited I went out to the corner early!  It was a great day to be out, not too cold and no wind, can you really ask for more than that?  We ran our normal 3.5 loop and had great conversation which really made the time fly.  Once I got home I decided to add on another mile so that I can get a little closer to my goal of 25 for the week.  I'm excited for the weekend, tomorrow we are going to our cabin on the Provo river, which will be a nice change of scenery for me and the boys.

Jody-

How fun! Is the whole family going or is it just you and Libby? I'm jealous, you know how I love gymnastics - oh the memories.

Marcie-

No, Steph moved about a year ago. We are just going down for the day with some friends. I wish I was running the half. I guess I was just thinking that maybe something else would be keeping from feeling up to it, but no such luck. I am definitely doing the Spectrum 10K - no matter what! You are going to be awesome at Painters. Any fun plans for the weekend?

Paula-

I'm going to have to wait and see on the SLC half. I think it would fun, but I'm just not 100%. You and Jody will have awesome times with all the miles you've been putting in.

I headed out this morning excited and ready for a great run.  I met my friends Laurie and Jodi and we were off.  I must admit that the first 2 miles were a struggle.  My legs felt so tired and I couldn't breath real well.  Then it was like someone flipped a switch and all of a sudden I felt great.  Jodi turned back on the small loop, but Laurie and I kept going.  We had a great time talking about our families and our church callings - she's RS president and I'm YW president in our ward - and lets just say I'm grateful for what I have.  I'm glad the week is over and that I met my goal of 25 miles for the week - yahoo!!!

My running partner called and cancelled last night, so I knew I would be on my own today.  I debated between the treadmill and waiting until my husband got home from work to go outside.  I chose the treadmill, because I know myself and if I waited it wouldn't get done today.  I decided to just do a nice easy run and I finished 5 miles in 51:24 so that's okay.  I'm not setting a mileage goal for myself this week, but I would be happy if I finished the week around 20.  I'm excited for all of you who are running Painters this weekend - good luck on your last few days of preparation!!!

I'm so grateful that Jody called yesterday and told me about the indoor track at the Olympic Oval.  I called my running partner, Jodi, and we decided to give it a try.  It was sooooo nice!  It felt good to run without being bundled in layers of clothes, and even better its was great not to be on the treadmill!!  We had a good time and felt like we were keeping a very comfortable pace - talked the entire time.  It was fun to see Jody and Paula there too.  They are much faster than us, but it was fun to chat for a minute when they would pass us.  My mileage is a guess based on the start and finish times.  I think we will definitely revisit the indoor track - Jody thanks for the heads up!

Another freezing cold day in the north!  I opted for the treadmill instead of heading outside by myself.  I ran 5 miles and a pretty steady 10:30 pace.  I would consider that an easy run because I never felt uncomfortable or like I was pushing myself by any means. I probably should try to push myself a little more than I do, I'll let you know if and when it happens.  My parents are coming into town tonight, so the boys and I are quite excited to spend time with them and Jody's kids while she's vacationing.  Something to look farward too, and another reason to clean my house!

We decided not to meet until 7:30, so it was nice to be able to sleep in a little bit this morning.  I loved that it wasn't dark when I walked outside, but I hated every minute of being out in the cold.  It really was freezing this morning!  We did the larger loop and after the first mile it felt pretty good.  I got home and my husband had taken the boys and bought donuts and chocolate milk for breakfast, so of course I had to help myself to a maple bar - yum!!  I guess that totally defeated the run, but oh well.

Another BIG FAT ZERO for me today!!  I will use my usual Tuesday excuse of YW.  It is causing me some major stress and  a run would probably do me good to work some of it out.  However, my husband is working on finishing our basement and I can't get to my treadmill and with kids that's my only option right now.  I will enjoy the day off and tomorrow we are going up to the oval in the morning so I will get to run with great company and a warm environment.

From Jody on Tue, Jan 22, 2008 at 20:00:29

Thanks again for all your help. I will be off Thursday and Friday afternoons if you want to get together.

From andee on Tue, Jan 22, 2008 at 20:05:16

Jody -

Thursday I'm judging a region competition at Bountiful, so maybe Friday. Why to you have those days off? The kids were great and it was fun to spend time with them.

From Jody on Tue, Jan 22, 2008 at 20:08:38

Jay leaves for louisiana and NM tomorrow. I am working 1/2 days on thurs and fri as long as I can figure out what to do with cam. Would you want to trade on thurs? You watch her after school till about two and then I will watch your boys for you later on?

From Christi on Tue, Jan 22, 2008 at 20:50:02

You & me both babe (the zero today) At least you have a good excuse with the basement being under construction! Have fun at the oval tomorrow! (BTW I'm sure you are an AWESOME YW leader- pres. right?- and all the time spent working & thinking about the girls is time well spent!)

From Lybi on Wed, Jan 23, 2008 at 00:40:35

Andee--here's my suggestion on potty training: put your hubby in charge of it. Ha ha. I've always wanted to try the whole "wait until they basically turn 18 and do it on their own" approach. Let me know if that works. JK. If I had two doing it at the same time I'd use competition to sway them. I.e. I've got one cookie here, for whoever puts his ... in the toilet first. I think it is super important to not get upset when they have an accident, though. "Hooray! You made a ..." even though you are gagging on the inside.

It was a fun morning to go running at the oval. It was the first time in a long time that all four ladies in our little group were able to go together. The run started out great, but at about 2 miles into it I started to fade a little. A couple of laps later Michelle said she was going to walk and I was more than happy to walk with her.  I was feeling light headed and dizzy, so the walking was good.  After a few minutes we started running again and after about a minute I was sick again, so that was the end of my run this morning.  I'm home and still not feeling great, but am glad that I was able to get in at least a short run today.  I'm heading up to Clearfield High School this afternoon to judge another dance competition, so it will be a night of sitting (hoping my behind does better this time).

Do you think there is a special reason you are not feeling well????

From andee on Wed, Jan 23, 2008 at 09:59:44

Yes, ultrasound on Friday morning at 8:30 to make sure everything is okay (normal for me to have one at 6 weeks). I'm excited and nervous at the same time.

From paula on Wed, Jan 23, 2008 at 10:08:34

I hope you get feeling better. It was good to get out of the cold.

From MarcieJ on Wed, Jan 23, 2008 at 11:12:42

That is exciting! Keep me posted! Nice job on getting the miles in even when you are not feeling all that great.

From Jody on Wed, Jan 23, 2008 at 11:27:20

Jody & Marcie -

Okay, I told Matt I wouldn't say anything until after the ultrasound, so if you guys would really try not to say anything until then I would really appreciate it.

From MarcieJ on Wed, Jan 23, 2008 at 12:43:06

It's okay. My parents already know, so I guess I should just call Brock and then there is no need to worry. Matt will laugh because he knows I get too excited to not tell anyone. Thanks!

From Christi on Wed, Jan 23, 2008 at 16:48:30

I'm telling Matt! J/K! CONGRATS! I hope everything goes well at the ultrasound. You are a blessed woman! My body wouldn't give me more than 2 kiddos- so cherish every minute of it! (AND what the heck- you are superwoman still running, esp. at the early icky feeling stage- GO ANDEE!)

From laura on Wed, Jan 23, 2008 at 21:44:16

Oh, how exciting, Andee!!!! Congratulations! It sounds like you have high risk pregnancies since it's normal to have an ultrasound at 6 weeks. I hope things go well! How far along are you??? I'm so excited for you! You're doing great to be out running while you're suffering.

From Michelle on Thu, Jan 24, 2008 at 20:07:36

It's so fun to hear about all you gals and the great job you are all doing and still running and all! I wish that I would have been into running while I was having my little ones, what a great way to stay in shape during pregnancy!!!

No run for me today.  After feeling so bad yesterday and being up late last night I'm just taking today easy.  I will feel much better about things after the ultrasound tomorrow.  I'm just praying that we hear a good strong heartbeat and that he/she measures the right size.  I'm planning to run on Saturday so maybe I can get a few more miles in for the week.

Sorry you're not feeling well! I've had 3 kids and 3 miscarriages, and in general I've noticed that feeling sick is a GREAT sign for the pregnancy. Fatigue, nausea, good; cramping bad. I'll be praying for you--keep us posted!

From andee on Fri, Jan 25, 2008 at 14:07:26

Ultrasound didn't go so well. I'm trying to be positive, but I've seen this before and know what will most likely happen. I want to wallow in a gallon of ice cream...maybe I will.

Oh, Andee. I can hardly tell you how my heart feels for you. My first two children are adopted after years of trying and failing, and my third is a miracle of sacrifice and great doctors (although all 3 are absolute miracles!!!!!!). I know the pain of unfulfilled hopes. I know miracles can still happen with this pregnancy, but ... if not ... know that there are many who will cry with you and hope with you.

I was excited to run this morning, since it had been almost a week since I last did anything physical.  We went up to the Olympic Oval because of the terrible winds and cold weather.  It was fun to see Jody and Paula - they are fast!  We had a nice time chatting and laughing.  4 easy miles and everything felt great.

As for a quick update on the ultrasound...the sac only measured 4 week size so they had me do a quanitative blood test and those results came back matching perfectly to being 4 weeks.  I'm going back in today for another blood test to see if the numbers are going up or down.  My nurse seems quite positive, but I have been in this boat several times before so I will prepare myself for either way.  Thanks to all of you for your kind words and prayers.

I decided to walk on the treadmill today.  The boys  played great and I kind of enjoyed the slower and more relaxed atmosphere that came with walking instead of running.  However, after about 20 minutes and just over a mile into it I was ready to run.  I was starting to get a little bored.  I stuck with it and am glad I did.

Things are still quite unsure with my pregnancy.  I keep having blood tests and the numbers just aren't going up like they should, but they are increasing.  I will have another ultrasound on Tuesday.

So my computer is retarded and wouldn't let me type my entry, so I will have to do it this way.

Went up to the Oval with Jodi and Lauri and had a good run. Felt good the entire time.

I was anxious to be able to blog something for today and of course my computer is old and retarded and wouldn't let me type my entry.

Anyway, I really needed a good run today after a weekend of complete non-activity and lots of food. The boys were pretty cooperative to play and the treadmill went by rather quickly. I adjusted the speed up/down every minute so I was focused on something.

Ultrasound tomorrow and then we should know a lot more about the situation.

Okay, so I don't know why my computer has issues about me typing my enteries. It is really starting to be annoying.

I ran for 45 minutes on the treadmill today and kept it nice and easy the entire time. I felt good about getting in 4 miles, but can definitely tell a difference since becoming less consistent.

The ultrasound Tuesday gave us good news. We saw and heard a perfectly healthy little hearbeat. They say there is nothing to worry about, but that is easier said than done. But I'm sooooo happy!

This computer issue is starting to drive me nuts, but I don't really know a way to fix it. Whenever I try to type my entry a little alert screen pops up and says something about an error with the scripts. Anyway, it will let me type one letter and then I have to click cancel and then click my mouse back to where I want to type my next letter. So, I guess for now I will just keep posting a comment and that way I can ensure that I have at least 1 for each run.

Now for the important stuff. I was trhilled when Laurie called last night to set up a run. It is rare that all 4 of us are able to go and to be able to be outside made it even better. The roads in our neighborhood were still really icy, but once we got out on the main roads it was great! I'm so grateful to have good friends to run with and to have great blogging friends to share the ups and downs with - thank you!

We ran outside this morning and it was beautiful. I think I even over dressed some because it was quite warm, compared to what we've been experiencing. I struggled to catch my breath for the first 2 miles. I don't know what my problem was, but I was huffing and puffing and struggling to carry on a conversation. I think I may be coming down with the same cold my boys have had - yuck.

From Lybi on Mon, Feb 11, 2008 at 10:54:48

I think it is much easier to get winded when you are pregnant because your blood composition changes--more white blood cells (which do not carry oxygen) and less red blood cells (which do). Hope you don't get sick!

From MarcieJ on Mon, Feb 11, 2008 at 12:04:16

Obviously I still have a retarded computer - what can you do?

Anyway, Jody said I needed to give everyone a heads up on my situation. Everything seems to be going just fine with the pregnancy. 8 weeks and go to the doctor tomorrow for my first real check-up. I'm feeling tired and sick throughout the day, so I'm thinking we're doing just great. My running has been extremely lacking lately and I'd like to blame it on so many things, but in reality it's just me being tired/lazy. We started potty training the twins this weekend and it has worn me out! Wow- I think it has been one of the hardest things I've had to do with them in 3 years. I'm really hoping to get a few minutes tonight when they are in bed to walk/run on the treadmill!

Hope you all are doing great!

From Lybi on Tue, Feb 19, 2008 at 16:13:54

Hey! Resting during pregnancy is NOT being lazy. You are doing an amazing thing--potty training 2 little boys, and at the same time growing a whole new human! Somebody call Guiness! Have a great walk later, and great job.

From kt on Tue, Feb 19, 2008 at 17:33:53

Ya I would have to say if someone asked me to run when i was pregnant I would have to slap them. Although my last pegnancy was the twins. So all I remember is the misery. Goodluck with the potty training and everything else you have going on.

From MarcieJ on Tue, Feb 19, 2008 at 20:40:14

Just make sure you have another one so my kids can have some cousins to play with ok!

My 2nd trimester was so much easier ... but you're more amazing that the average woman!!!!!

From Bethany on Wed, Feb 20, 2008 at 11:29:09

good luck with the potty training. Please let me know anything that worked for you. My almost 3 year old is adamant that he is going to wear diapers to his Junior Prom.

And I agree with the above comments, you are amazing!

From kt on Wed, Feb 20, 2008 at 12:20:43

Maybe this will help with the potty training. This might sound funny, but make the bathroom a fun place to be. This worked for all mine and my foster kids I have potty trained. I just had them sit on the toilet and entertained them until they went and then reward them. My boy was the hardest. so I set aside a day where I deicated my day to him. He sat on the toilet almost all day but it was fun for him. I read to him he had some toys to play with I gave him fun drinks, and each time he went we made a big deal out of it. He even ate lunch there. It took one hard day for me and after that he wanted the possitive attention if he went. Or buy a toy or treat and show it to them and then do a sticker chart and after they have so many stickers they get the prize.

Hope that helps.

4 miles walking on the treadmill...

Comments
From andee on Fri, Feb 22, 2008 at 10:05:35

So, I walked 4 miles on the treadmill. It took me an entire hour and it was SOOOOOOOO boring! I tried to keep a pretty good pace and even put in on an incline for 3 miles. I worked up a little sweat, but it took a lot of self control to not just bump it up and start running.

Update on the potty training....all is well. One accident a day for the last 3 days is all, so I think we are well on our way. However, I think we have spoiled them will all the "Thomas" trains and "Cars" toys that they will be slightly disappointed when all they get for their reward is a piece of candy.

From Christi on Sat, Feb 23, 2008 at 13:16:52

Looks like you'll need to invest in some good movies for all that walking you'll be doing. Good for you though! Soon it should be nice enough to get outside for walks. Good luck w/ potty training. I just babysit my potty training neice overnight and forgot how much work it is- and you have x2- you're amazing!

From laura on Tue, Feb 26, 2008 at 00:26:38

I was wondering when your doctor would tell you to stop running. When we finally conceived after a major infertility procedure, I had to stop ANYthing that raised my heart rate too much. I couldn't take a bath or eat chocolate! It was incredible the restrictions! But it's all worth it!!!! And, like Christi, said - try some new movies ... or maybe some audio books on your iPod. Good luck!!! You're doing great!!!!!!!!

Well once again I have no miles to log.  I'm just struggling right now with feeling up to doing much of anything.

For the past couple of weeks I have been eating everything in sight (I had already gained 5 lbs. when I went to the doctor last week).  Now, I'm feeling like I need to eat, but absolutely nothing sounds good.  Maybe this will help even out my 5 pounds. I really feel like if I eat I will feel better, but then my body says eat and you'll puke.  So what do you do???

I am really missing running.  I miss the early morning visits with friends and I miss the way you feel after a good run.

Funny how those first weeks drag for forever (okay, the whole 40 seem to drag...but those especially!) I thought I would never look at food the same way. Hang in there! You will get back to running soon!

Ally - I'm due around the 29th of September, wow that seems forever away!

Paula - Thanks for your encouragement.

Bethany - Thank you! I will definitely be back running in a year!! I told my husband last night that my goal will be to run Hobblecreek 1/2 in 2009.

So I guess I'm averaging one day of exercise per week - how sad is that?!  I went walking this morning with Terah and we had a nice time.  I had mapped out a route so I knew we'd get in at least 3 miles and we had a great time visiting.  The only draw back was the wind and the fact that it took sooooooo long to finish.  Can I just say that I miss running!  However,  I must count my blessings that I have 2 little boys that are officially potty trained and I'm 10 weeks along and everything seems to be going just great.

YEAHHHH for potty trained children!!!! We're still looking longingly for the day when at least ONE of our three will be potty trained. *sigh*

I'm so glad your pregnancy is going well so far - and you're almost to the second trimester! Hallelujah! ;o)

Nice walking today! We had a great day in Colorado too! Deliciously warm (in the upper 60's), so we were willing to forgive the annoying wind.

So, I think my body is in shock!!  After an entire week of doing absolutely nothing physical, I drug myself downstairs and on the treadmill.  I can't believe how out of shape I am.  I know by the way I've been eating that if I don't start doing something I'm going to be the size of a whale within a month.  Therefore, I am really going to try to get at least 30 minutes in every day this week.  I think that's a good goal - now just hold me to it!!

Yes I am going to try to do the sl half even though I havent really been training at all. I figure I can crawl across the finish line if nothing else and I have never done one so anytime is a good time!! Keep up the good work Its hard when you are just trying to get through the day with the little energy you have leftover that the baby hasn't taken. I'm impressed keep it up

So, I got the kids in bed and then sat and watched the Biggest Loser before I finally got on the treadmill for my 30 minutes.  I decided to try one of the programs (I've had my treadmill for 5 years and this is the first time I've ever tried one of them).  It went 2-4 mph and 0-6% incline.  I think it was a pretty good workout for a tired mom at the end of a long day.  I'm now 2 days closer to my goal for the week.

Good job on your run! It is hard getting a work out in when you have little kids, especially if you are potty training. I always waited until summer so my girls could just run around in pull-ups. Not to mention the hours I spent reading stories to my girls while they sat on the toilet waiting for something to happen.

A BIG FAT ZERO FOR TODAY!  I had every intention of making it 4 days in a row, but life just didn't cooperate.  Besides the fact that I had 2 extremely cranky little boys, I had absolutely NO energy and as the day progressed so did the nausea - no fun!

Okay, I have not done one active thing in weeks, I really need to find some motivation!

The potty training has gone great - no complaints.  It did take us 6 different stops to make it to St. George last weekend, but no accidents, so all was well.

I'm 14 weeks along and so far so good with the pregnancy.  I pulled out my maternity clothes and washed some pants this morning.  I've been trying to squeeze into my jeans, and it's just getting to uncomfortable.  I don't know if it's the baby, or my never ending appetite to blame for that one.

So, it's been 7 weeks today since my little boy was born.  I decided to go out see how a run would feel.  I knew it would probably be pretty ugly since it has been 10 months since I've done anything physically active.  I told myself I would do the big loop around my neighborhood twice, not matter how hard it was.  It went about how I had expected it.  I ran most of it, but did have to walk about .25 in the middle to catch my breath.  I got home and my lungs were burning like crazy.  It's amazing how out of shape I am.  I'm planning to get out again in the next couple days and hopefully it will start to get easier.
