This was a pretty awesome race, the course was flat and fast. There were a lot of girls there so I got tied up at the first behind some but i worked my way up. It was pretty cold so I actually think that helped because my body was under unfamiliar conditions. I passed V and Michelle so I actually finished 4th on my team, even though I am supposed to be the 6th runner. Oh this was in Nampa, Idaho by the way. Our girls and guys team beat all the hawaii schools, which was pretty awesome. Well anyway, I was trying to run this race smarter than the last one, starting out slow and accelerating throughout. It worked out a lot better, I would have beat my 5k time by a minute if it were a 5k. |
