AM- easy 30. My legs were dead so so dead.

PM- 15 min warm 3xmile repeats with an all out 200 and cool down to time. We had the repeats at goal race pace for region (6:15) then for the first one we were supposed to hit 10 sec faster than that (6:05), the second one was supposed to be 15 sec slower than our race pace (6:30) and the last one was 5 seconds faster than race pace (6:10). My first one I got out fast and led the pack strong for the whole one pretty much, but my shins were hurting a lot. I think it was about 6:06ish. The second one I got out strong and led with rylee for the most part and ended in the pack with probably 6:28? The last one I was trying everything to just stay in there. I have no idea what my time ended with. I didn't stay with the pack. On the last lap I came back and finished good and strong but I CANNOT lose the pack when I'm tired. Coach says I just need to believe in myself and I suppose that's true I just don't know where to start. The 200 was very strong for me and me and Jacey fought for it good. Good workout overall. I need to work on that last mile a ton. Maybe start always picking it up at the end of runs/workouts, even easy runs. I'll work on it. But I think it was good because my shins were hurting lots and I wanted to take one off after every one but I kept in there and I'm glad I did. That's one step forward

And that's exactly how you start believing in yourself... Notice the good stuff and keep building on it.
