This was my practice race for Boston. Knoxville is a pretty hilly city. I was trying to keep an 8min/mi pace to see if I could do so for Boston. I still had some energy left at the end, but I'm not sure if I could of held the pace for a second half. I'm also not use to the hills. I did enjoy this race though. Plenty of water and powerade stops. Several bands throughout the course and a gel stop. My boyfriend did the full, and he said there were people handing out banana slices and motrin as well. |
