A couple of wins in small local races. 

I have always been an active person and need to do something physical everyday or I don't feel right. 

Short-Term Running Goals:

Mile: 4:40

5k: 16 min (track or honest course)

10k: 33 min

1/2 Marathon: 1:13

Steadily increase my mileage to 60-70 miles a week.

 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Eventually run a marathon.

Run for health and sanity.

5 easy morning miles, muggy weather!

5k loop after dinner. Still hot outside.

This week is a cutback week, my past 3 weeks have been 40, 46 and 52 even though the graph says otherwise. Planning on 40 this week and then I will bump it up again next week.

AM:  Slept in until 730 so kept it short and sweet. 5K loop

PM: 5 miles, I had to pick it up for .25 just to make sure I can still run quicker than 8 minute pace.

Good luck to all the Des News 10K and Marathon runners tomorrow. I can't wait to check out the 10K next year.

Early 5k loop. Heading out to Timpanogos, don't worry Crockett, your record is safe. My little bro is getting hitched in the Timpanogos temple today. Congrats to him! My day will consist of hanging out, babysitting, and checking for Olympic updates/reading Letsrun posts.
