A blustery lunch run. Didn't take my watch just kept it relaxed and easy.

ACorn,
Hi. You are doing great with your running program.
Regarding the Running of the Leopards 5K coming up:
I hope you get the 16:40 you are looking for. I am looking forward to hearing about that. Allie is running that race also: so at least two race reports to read.
I am leaning toward the approach you took last year. I am running little (three runs and about 30 miles weekly). I will see how that works out.
Please do not take this the wrong way: I think you should be breaking 16:40. You should be running 16:38 at least (5:21/mile I think). Your 5:21 mile equates to my 7:41 mile (from a difficulty standpoint). My best 5K time mind you is 7:43/mile…but the Garmin recorded it as 7:37/mile. Hope you are good at running the tangents. I am not saying run the 5:21s up front…but generally speaking, I believe you can break 16:40!
