AM

5 easy miles on my hillier route.  Started snowing as I was finishing.  Took it slow today as I was feeling that pleasant tiredness in my legs that comes with a couple of decent training days. I can only imagine the feelings that the true high mileage runners enjoy.

PM

4 miles after work, amazing how much better I feel in the afternoon than morning

Nice and easy in the snow...What are your racing plans this year?

From ACorn on Wed, Feb 15, 2012 at 11:17:27 from 24.2.76.146

I have some time today, I will update my blog. I have a couple I will do for sure in March and April but need to look into Summer races too and scout out a half marathon to try in the Fall.

There are many, many 13.1 races to choose from. A flat, unaided one in fall is the Huntsville, Utah half. You would win that one, I'll bet.

I figured I'd just post over here instead of going back and forth on Andrea's page - I'm flexible for tomorrow... anytime after 5pm is fine w/ me... seems to be light out until ~630pm now. I've been running @ the Olympus track b/c there's never any snow there, but if somewhere else is convenient for you, that would work for me. I'm doing a double dipper tomorrow (tempo in the morning, track after work), so I'm thinking something along the lines of 12x400, or 8x400 + 8x200

Sweet, I am good after 5pm too and Olympus works great for me. Nice and close. Does 530 work?

From Jake K on Wed, Feb 15, 2012 at 11:52:10 from 155.100.226.54

Yeah, that will be perfect. Have you been on the new track? There is a spot in the gate at the south side of the parking lot where you can squeeze through. Technically its still closed.

Thanks, I had hopped the fence once but would rather sneak through.

It'll be good for me to get a track session in but will probably do about half of your workout. Either way, it's always nice to have a superior partner for motivation. See you tomorrow!

Yeah, just knowing someone else is going to be there is half the battle. It helps w/ motivation A LOT.

I like the positive comments about tired legs. I got nothing but hate for that feeling. Have a nice, brutal, pleasant workout tomorrow.
