6 very easy miles this morning, 8:35 average pace

Went out in the afternoon for an easy jog but had some discomfort under my left kneecap. Never had this before.  Not awful pain but noticeable, I stopped after about half a mile and went home and iced it.

Good reminder to stretch and do the necessary leg strengthening exercises.

sorry about the knee issues, but it sounds like you are doing everything right to ensure it doesn't get worse.

see you on saturday.

had a bout of this earlier in my training this cycle. Iced it a ton. cutting back on mileage helps, but as long as you take care of it, it should go away. Also, spend some extra time stretching the quad muscle on whichever leg hurts. That seemed to ease the tension on the kneecap. I was able to train through mine. Good luck!
