ACorn,
Hi. Good run tonight. Glad to see you are enjoying the weather. This has been the best winter. I think it snowed twice in CT this year.
Used the 110 tonight. Love it.
What kind of 5K time are you going for on March 24th?

PRE,
I'm shooting for a 16:40, that'd tie my PR. Right now, I'm just enjoying my unstructured approach. My structured interval / repetition workouts have been fairly non-existent.
On the bright side, my mileage is better than ever. This makes me believe that my endurance is solid even though my speed is lacking. Last year, when I ran my PR, my approach was pretty much the exact opposite of what it has been as of late. I ran little but much harder than I have been this year.
The plan is to go out right around 5:25-5:30, hopefully I will be feeling good and full of agreesion, drive, adrenaline etc. This will be when the fun really begins :>

Great job on your run. Geez, you are fast. Can't believe you didn't run in high school or college.

I like the plan to start the race w/ an Agreeeeesive attitude! :-)
Endurance is what everything else is built on. Speed will come - but you'll notice big improvements just from being stronger aerobically.
