Short-Term Running Goals: In the next two years I'd like to qualify for the 'Boston Marathon'.
I have a crazy dream to qualify for the olympic games... but understand it's very hard to do... so am not sure if it's attainable... or what it would take... I know there are a lot of fast runners out there:D
In the next 6 months I'd like to try and beat my personal best of: 3:34:56 in the marathon.
Long-Term Running Goals: Qualifying for the Olympic Games. Without a doubt would
be a lifetime achievement. Personal: I'm a 30yr old single Christian Kiwi (New Zealander). I'm passionate about my country, running, and my career as a 3D Animator.

| 20km approx in 2:10:41. Ran the hills at Mac Ritchee reserve. I felt pretty weary afterwards, though. Ran with Jackie and co... for half of the distance... I biked at East Coast with Rachel in the evening... Jeffery was there too, but rollerbladed instead.

Swam 100 laps in 44:53 (of Dynaforce gym)... Swam a good time because I was angry about something and helped to fuel the flame... is close to my personal best time. Something came over me... I had a strong desire to run... so at 9pm after a long day at work, i put on my running shoes and hit the pavement... I ran my usual 32km course (for the 1st time this year)...I even ran a sub 2hr at the 21-22km mark...at the end of Changi Coastal Road. But I think that was my undoing... i paid the price for not taking in water early enough, and running too hard... so i made it to the bus stop and took the mrt back... went to 'Cheers' store and bought a slurpee, H-Two_O, and Milo bar etc. I forgot to stop my watch... so am unsure of my exact time, but i think it close to 2:41:53 for the 27km. I was happy i attempt this, even though i feel apart at the end... Huh, was funny, though the store owner at 'Cheers' couldn't understand why i was running at midnight (i ran late at night) when most people were watching tv, sleeping, or taking it easy... i guess you have to be a runner to understand:)

I ran the '350' (Young NTUC) in 48:23 (10km)... it wasn't a race... but more of a fun run at
Pulau Uben Island... it was fun... I think it placed 4th overall... out of about 300 runners. I know this is a slow time for me... but it a little hilly at times... so not completely flat. Actually, Patrich and Lili never went because at the time it was raining... but when we ran, there was no rain... just right... temperature wasn't too hot... no sun helped a lot especially when run at 4pm. So even though it was a slow run for me...and was wet conditions, i had fun, and am glad i went. |

10km approx ran this morning to Pasir Ris Park (just past Summer Breeze cafee) and back to Pasir Ris MRT... ran this really slow as my left shin was playing up again... ran in a very slow: 1:12:22. (I felt like an old man this morning... it wasn't fun... i hate injuries) Swam 80 laps in 37min (sec not sure of). During lunch hr.
In the evening after work I went into town to run with my SAFRA Mt Faber running club... I ran 8km approx(run in: 48min approx) before I started to get a blister in my Newton shoes... in the same place i got a blister during my Hong Kong Marathon.
