14.10 miles in 2:20 at an overall 9:56 pace.  You have to be kidding me this is the slowest I've ever ran.  I was in pain the whole way,  it was only the last 6 miles where the pain in the hip kind of eased up where I exactly ran at a 8 minute pace.   I ran the Pocatello Marathon course with my wife training for the half marathon.  She ran her first 10 miles ever.

Hopefully I can try and run a little Monday.  The pain has got to go in THE NAME OF JESUS.

Now why would I do that we all on this blog fight through our pain. :-) Besides I was tired of the Ellpitical and I wanted to run with my wife to make sure she was ok. But I'm watching myself. I believe its getting better.

Kory, This kind of injury is tricky bud, I had it years ago and it takes time. It will go away once you lay off only to flare up again. What I did was to ride a bike back and forth to work at a good clip which was about 40 minutes each way, and then every other day I would start to jog a bit on the grass and monitor it carefully. After some weeks it finally went away and I was able to run again all be it only 3-4 miles a day. Still in pretty good shape aerobically however.. Something to try maybe? Get well soon Kory:)
