| It's funny how you finally start figuring stuff out about the time you're too old to apply it...
On a sore quad and no calories since 6:30am, I ran 3X800m LT repeats at 3:00, 2:58, and 2:54, and it was way too comfortable. The moment I stretched it out and tried to run a faster 400m, I noticed my form falling off, breathing labored, etc., and I'm just talking the difference between a 5:58 pace and a 5:40 pace (I managed 80 seconds).
So it goes...5.75 Total Miles.
