| 11 miles easy - on very sore quads - on my 9.5 Hwy. 300-Roland Cut-Off loop plus a little extra. It was a sweat fest, close to 90 degrees with humidity at 70%+, and I managed it without any fluid. I also managed 8X200m surges, 2 each at the end of Mike 6, 8, 10, and 11.

| AM: 13 miles midday to Pinnacle Mt. State Park. Made a couple loops around Kingfisher Trail and headed back home, with two short detour climbs up the Pinnacle Mt. maintenance road (gravel) and Waterview Estates entrance (pavement). Relaxed 8:37/mile pace, still with not-insignificant soreness in quads.
PM: 4 miles at 8:28/mile before Arkansas Track & Field Hall of Fame banquet, during which one of my runners was honored as a member of the All Arkansas Academic Team!
Total: 17 Miles. I'm not sure what I'll have heft tomorrow, but I'm on target for my third 100+ mile week in a row.
