28 Miles in 3:39:44 on another hot day around 86 degrees in metro Detroit.
From my in-laws house in Troy, I ran north on Dequidre for 7 Miles, turning west on Hamlin and picking up the easternmost point of the Clinton River Trail, the first four miles of which are asphalt, with the remainder a limestone mix; ran on the Trail for 8+ Miles through Rochester Hills and Auburn Hills, before turning south just past Mile 15 on Opdyke, which ends at Woodward, where I continued south for a couple of miles on the grass shoulder (no sidewalk) to Big Beaver; turned back east on Big Beaver around Mile 20 and followed it all the way back to the house in Troy, finishing strong with a 7:15 mile.
Felt pretty comfortable running a 7:51 average pace, with 40 oz. of water and only two gels (couldn't stomach any more in the heat).
29 Total Miles including a one-mile walk to park.
