| | For practice today we did the "Turkey Workout" in honor of it being Thanksgiving and all. It was six 500m's supposedly at goal 5k race pace for the first 400m, but it ended up being a lot faster which felt good. The last 100m Coach picked someone to be the "turkey" and everyone was supposed to sprint hard to try and catch the turkey. Turned out to be pretty fun :) Afterward just finished up low mileage again.

| | Did my T-Day run in good old Wyoming today on a ranch... in the middle of nowhere. Didn't feel super great at first cuz it was like 10 degrees and the snow was ankle deep, but after a couple miles I started feeling really good and my lungs didn't feel so much like they were two giant popsicles. It was SUPER pretty, and a huge herd of deer (or antelope or whatever) ran across the road right in front of me and it was insanely cool! I was just supposed to go five but I ended up going six just cuz I felt so good and I'm sick as heck of low mileage. Figured I'd better try and make up for the loads of food I planned on eating later anyway.
