I met up with Carina and Misty and Cheryl and Sarah, and Heather and we went to the base of American Fork canyon and waited for the half marathon runners to come out. Carina and I decided after we heard they started late to run to the finish and then come back and help other runners in. We saw James (Fiddy) from the blog and he was doing the same so he ran with Carina and I for a few miles and then turned around for Allie. I liked the last few miles on this course better than the American Fork half. But it was a muggier day today then when I ran in June. I loved both courses though. I saw Kelli when I got to the finish and it didnt register to me that there was a marathon going the same time. I thought she was doing a run like we were. I watched Justin (the winner) come in and then Jeremy and Rob crush a 1:15! Nice job! I then went back to the course and helped Esther in and then went back for Amy but couldnt find her. I ended up with 11.3 miles and had fun!

you are always so kind to help the other runners in and pace them toward their goals. i'm still grateful for that time you magically showed up in the SLC 10-miler down emigration and helped me push through those final miles.

it was great to see you yesterday. glad you have recovered from your marathon and are getting back to the training again. hope you had a nice trip to CA!

Carina, sometimes it brings more satisfaction watching and helping friends get a pr than doing it yourself.

Allie, it was an unexpected pleasure to push you in on that ten Miler. I hope you can see the effects of your running and how it motivates everyone around you!

Walter I read the article about you in the Desert News. Wow I had no idea you had a serious injury. You are such a great runner I could not tell that you had been injured.

Nancy - the brain damage is still there. That's pretty obvious.

Nancy you can tell if you watched me run. my leg has a bit of a flick to it and my knees are more inward. Im not complaining though.
