Have been running since Fall 2008. Running started out as an exercise for weight loss and quickly turned into an addiction. Lost 50lbs in 2009. Today I am at a ideal weight.
So far my personal best for a 5K race is 29:59.

Short-Term Running Goals:
• Run a 25K trail run in 3 hr and 30 min or less
• Improve my 5K race time, my goal is 20min
• Run a marathon under 5 hours.
• Increase my weekly mileage
• Run on the weekends

Did 8 miles of trail running through a forest. Was great fun. Was a little concerned starting out because the last two days my left ankle and hip has been popping, doesn't hurt it's just annoying. Despite the annoyance I got through the trail in one hour and 50min. That's fast for me. Was a great morning for a run. The weather was cool. Since it rained the last two days there was finally water in the creeks, they had been dry all summer. I am thinking I am going to have to find some water proof trail running shoes and water wicking socks. Current shoes and socks held the water. Had of few miles of hearing squish squish squish.
