I ran 3 miles before the races started, then did about a mile during the races.
My toe felt fine; the antibiotics have helped.
Both my teams qualified for sectionals! It was a good day.
Side note: I'm ready to start running good mileage again, but it gets difficult this time of year with sectionals and state coming up. It is also hard because my new goals (a 1/2 marathon in April and a 19 mile race in June) are so far away. I'm planning on doing some 5Ks and an 8 mile race in January, but I can (and have) done those races for pleasure without really training.
Basically, I have little motivation right now. |
