Easy treadmill after the warrior with Chuck. Walked .25 after running 2 then did .25 more. Coughing. Feel like I'm starting over, which in essence I probably am. Not sure about these new shoes. They feel higher than others.

Basketball game Friday meant no workout .

Today it was cvx and then the challeng . Need running motivation. Don't like the coughing.

This was actually last week's entry. No exercise today. Went to Chicago, and by the time I got around to it, I was exhausted and not feeling well.

Cvx today to make sure I didn't go too many days without exercise. This was after the basketball game (Illinois lost) and some pizza at the kcs.

Somehow I screwed up and didn't post anything last week? Maybe I'll fix it later. So today was 3 workouts. Yoga with Chuck in the morning. Then a 4 mile run and eccentric upper in the afternoon.

2 easy treadmill miles, just so I could get in 4 runs this week. I think I either have runner's knee or a stress fracture.

This was slower than usual because it was a morning run, and probably a little because my body isn't used to running less than 12 hours after another run.

I vascillate about morning running, but for the rest of this week, I'm going to need to run in the morning.

Splits were 9:34, 9:14, and then I finally warmed up to a blazing 8:44. Ha ha.

A couple twinges in the ankle. Feels like my knee problem (osgood schlatter? Even though I'm too old?) is traveling downward to the tendonitis that I always had when I was younger.

An easy 3 while Charlotte was at swim lessons. It was sorta cool, but very sunny. I prolly should have gone running yesterday, but didn't. Now I have to run tomorrow, which is fine, but I sorta wanted a rest day before the 5k on Saturday.

AP was 8:54 (9:11, 8:50, 8:40). No sweat.

I feel fairly good about this run. After breakfast, I intended to do just 3, but added on one once I got home. Pace was good 8:35 AP) with a progression down to a fast mile. (8:50, 8:41, 8:35, 8:16).

I'm not sure about my goal tomorrow of being under 8:00 pace for the 5k, but I think with a warmup I can at least get close.
