Ran a little on the course today.  It was quite comical--I couldn't seem to get my legs moving.

I'm going to try and run/walk a little today with the kids, but I bet it'll be more walking than running.

I wish I could have seen that. Are you feeling better now? I'm really curious about what marathon recovery is like.

From Tracy on Fri, Oct 17, 2008 at 13:56:53

I'm feeling a lot better, but I've been doing just quite a bit of walking.

My muscles feel perfectly normal, but I have an infected toe--obviously related to the marathon, but it makes me nervous to run. My walking shoes are a little tighter, so my toe doesn't move too much, but my running shoes are looser, so my toe was knocking against the top.

That and I'm still stressed because it's the end of the quarter and I'm trying to get grades done.

I'll be running tomorrow because my team has a meet, and I'll post how that run is. I'll try to do whatever I have time for--sometimes it's only 2 miles, but sometimes I can get in 4 or 5 before the races start.
