Ran to the track for some speed.  Just 4 x 800.

The first 800 was 3:29.  But I finished into the wind, so on my recovery I ran a 600 so that I could finish with the wind.  Next was 3:30.  Third one I relaxed a bit at 3:37, and on the last one I relaxed too much at 3:41.  Wanted to be at 3:35 for all, but the last one it took me too long to get into it, and by the time I felt that hunger for speed, it was already over.

Wish I could blame the heat (it was 74!) or the wind, but really it was just my brain.

I did get whistled at on the way to the track.  That's right.  I'm sexy.

It makes me laugh.  I've never been one to fall for leering/ogling.  I don't think that when I was in the dating stage of my life that I ever started dating someone who looked me up and down appreciatively first.  I guess there have to be some girls who would, otherwise men wouldn't do that, right?

Wow, from 6 year olds to grown men. "Work it Girl!" :)

Good speed workout. Our brains can really mess with us sometimes.

You are on a roll lately with the men, nice going! My wife apparently gets honked at a lot. She asked me if people ever honk at me, and sadly I had to say no.

74 degrees would kill me, that is hot. But you had some really nice paces anyway, good running.

I agree that 74 is hot. And apparently you are too.

I'll take 74 if anybody would like to get rid of it.

Joe, your wife must be hot too. And you must not be. What woman doesn't like to jeer at a man running?

Carolyn, thanks for noticing.

Stacy, I'm not giving it up, but I would have liked a little warning first.

From SlowJoe on Thu, Apr 07, 2011 at 12:19:27 from 131.59.200.82

Just a little sympathy jeer, that's all I'm asking...

Nice workout.

The only advice I can offer to women of all ages is to keep in mind that: men are idiots.

From Tracy on Fri, Apr 08, 2011 at 16:27:42 from 209.175.177.37

All people are idiots, JD. How many times have you all heard "Run, Forrest, run!" when you were out running?

People. Who needs them?

From Burt on Fri, Apr 08, 2011 at 16:42:44 from 206.19.214.144

My technique is a little more classy. I call girls up and breathe real heavy into the phone.

Old school Burt. Old school.
