Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 18, and 19.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

4.6 miles. Ringling Bridge. 35:55. 7:48 pace. 5:45 pm start. 91 deg. 64% hum. 77 d.p. Good pace on the way out, slowed up on the way back. On the way out, I passed a guy I have seen at some local races. As I went by, he said to the person running with him in a really loud voice "Sometimes, I just like to take it easy, and jog." Maybe that was for my benefit, maybe not. It still made me laugh. Big rain with wind on the 2nd half of the run. I had to keep my sunglasses on to keep the rain from hitting my eyes. I'm sure I looked like a doofus, running in the pouing rain with sunglasses.
