Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

I'm married, with two sons, 18, and 19.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

7.5 miles. hood route. 6:15 am start.1:04:17. 8:34 pace. I saw 4 dead snakes on the side of the road. And I found a golf ball. nice.

Track-form-fixing workout. 3:30 pm start. (after church and yard-work) 2 mile up. 2x200 @ 75% w/ 200 AR. 4x100 @ >75% w/ 100 AR. 6x50 @ 100% w/ 50 AR. 1 mile down. I did the form drills (buttkicks, etc.) while I warmed up. Tommy did @ 1.5 miles total. Johnny didn't run. Then swimming, then Slurpees and Slim Jims. Life is good.

I believe this is my first 20 miler this year. I'm not as fast as I need to be yet, but I feel that this is a good start. Now I'm off to meet the family at the beach. I might take the day off from skimboarding!
