Short-Term Running Goals:

2024 GOALS:

to not get fat

Long-Term Running Goals:

Continue running as often as I can, as far as I can, as fast as I can. Teaching my kids (by example) the rewards that come from putting in the work. Very slowly get to 50 states.

Personal:

I'm married, with two sons, 18, and 19.

I started running because someone dared me to.

I ran my first race 3 days after my 40th birthday. (Disney)

I just went ahead and ran on the hotel TM this morning instead of trying to find a route outside to run. The temp was the same as yours but the view was very boring! I don't think I'm going to catch up with you this week. :-)

Are y'all in the same town?

From I Just Run on Tue, Oct 01, 2013 at 08:28:44 from 12.237.165.2

No, I'm on the east coast and Tom lives on the west coast. Wish we were so we could get together.

IJR is directly across the state from me. He's East Coast, I'm West Coast. I was just looking up places for him to run over there, and I think I found a cool one: The Palm Beach Lake Trail. On the website they say "Because it's Palm Beach, many of the people using the trail are unusually well dressed and polite." Ha-Ha! Well, I better keep looking!

Thanks Tom for the run route, I'll look it up this evening and see if I can get to it. I don't have a car so i'll have to run wherever I go.

Now off to the trade show. :-)

Nah, forget that route! I'm sure you forgot to bring your fancy running pants! WPB is a big place. Where are you? Near 95? Near the Beach?

I am at the west palm beach Marriott

I don't know how long you want to go, but you are 1.4 miles from that trail. you could get 10.6 on an out and back run, but you'd have to be unusually well dressed and polite.

Tom

This looks good. I may try it in the morning.
