Morning run. Still got the clunky legs, decided to wear my HR monitor to see if it showed anything funky. Just showed that my cardio is fine and legs are the problem. HR stayed mostly between 135 and 140 which is right where I would expect it to be running a nice easy pace.

Later got to the gym for 30 min XT plus core.

Working at home today so went out a little later in the morning to enjoy some sun and warmer-than-usual November temps. Did some hill repeats (5?) just to try to snap my legs out of their stupor. Not sure if it helped but I suppose hills are good for you regardless.

Did my usual morning 6-miler. Feeling a bit of the tendon-bum-itis in my right leg and a kind of weird pinched nerve type pain/feeling in the high-hamstring area after I've been sitting for very long. Goes away after I just walk around a bit. I'm thinking the not warming up enough in the cold before Snow Canyon is to blame for a lot of my recent funk and stupid bum-itis flaring up.

Later got to the gym for 30 min XT. Did a little different type of XT today, instead of spending some time on eliptical, stair-stepper and bike like usual, I just spent 30 min doing a fast walk on the treadmill with the incline cranked all the way up to get my HR up. Doing anything at the gym is so boring to me gotta try and mix it up a bit.

Decided to take a break from running today to give the bum-itis and other weird pains an opportunity to take a hike. I did get to the gym before lunch for 30 min XT. I may do some core work tonight.

Still kinda of blah, felt a bit better as the run progressed.

Nice morning run with a pretty good sized group considering the brewing storm. But the snow held off until the last few miles and it really didn't matter anyhow. Snow is better than rain. Had a nice time and was a good boy by not letting anyone push me into running faster than my legs (or hamstrings) were wanting to go.
