Ran 3 with Kim this morning and walked around 1.3. Sure has been nice out these recent June mornings and nice to see some sun while the days are still long. Soon enough we'll be running in the dark again I suppose, but we'll probably want to be out of the sun soon enough with the temps headed up towards 3 digits the next couple months.
Later at the gym at work did 45 minutes XT (E/B/S). I wish the x-training got easier (mentally I mean) after a while. I guess it has gotten a little easier since I first started but now that I can run I compare it to that, and stuffy gyms with no change of scenery just aren't very fun. But I really think doing a bit of XT most of the the training cycle will do wonders with keeping the injuries away while helping push the aerobic conditioning along. So we'll keep plugging away with the M-W-F XT routine..... |
