Much nicer run today than any of the Orlando runs. We're in Georgia now staying with some good friends who used to live near us in Utah before they moved just north of Atlanta a few years back. They live in a gorgeous area with lots of green and trees and rolling hills.

Kim and I ran mostly in a park area near their home that has a beautiful 2.2 mile loop paved trail around a lake in a mostly wooded area. Still fairly humid but much more bearable here and cooler as well. Overcast day that kept threatening to rain but never actually did much. Now we're off to Stone Mountain for the day!

Our final run in Georgia this morning. We have really enjoyed our stay here and the southern hospitality that had been shown us especially by our friends and hosts the Clarks. Heading home tonight on a late flight hopefully all goes well.

Did some faster miles today and 10 or 11 strides. Felt pretty good for 4 miles or so then the heat and humidity punched me in the face! It will be nice to get back to our Utah cool and dry mornings.

Back in Utah. Normally I would probably complain about a morning Utah run of around 70 degrees with a touch of humidity, but compared to the heat and heavy duty humid conditions of Florida & Georgia the past week, it felt heavenly to run and not be completely soaking wet with sweat at the end. I even added on an extra mile or 2 more than I was originally planning. Utah is certainly a really really nice place to train in the summer time in the early morning hours.

Nice Friday easy run. Started with Kim and did one of our regular river bottom loops. Quite a bit cooler this morning than yesterday but very little wind and about as perfect as could be for a morning run. Later went to the gym for 30 min XT.

Had a dandy long run on a beautiful sunny 50-55 degree morning. Started out with the gang but all the guys that run my pace were MIA or recovering from UVM so I ran a lot of solo miles. Which was still ok-dokey since I was feeling hunky-dory.
